What is measured and for what reason:

Density and flow measurement is needed to calculate the correct blending ratio. Temperature and pressure measurement are used in product pipe and in the water dearation system. The tanks are usually equipped with level and point level sensors.

A Coriolis meter is the tailored solution to measure as well flow as density. The density is used to calculate original gravity of the beer. This inline system allows highly accurate blending. Product and water flow can be measured with an electromagnetic flow meter. For temperature and pressure measurement aseveral instruments are available.
