CIP Control

What is measured and for what reason:

Temperature: The time starts counting when the cleaning temperature is reached
Flow: The flow rate is measured to be sure about the speed in the pipes
Conductivity: To have shortest possible change over and to monitor the concentration
Level: To be sure that enough liquid is available to start a cleaning program
Pressure: gives an indication if the system is still unblocked
Data recording: Is needed for the documentation and alarm signal is a value declines

Why is it special:

The success of a cleaning in place system is driven by temperature, flow rate and concentration. Cleaning is the central activity beside production. All parts that are in the process need to be cleaned. The cleaning has to follow specified steps. It is a main quality related activity, so it needs to be documented in the best possible way.

How can it be solved best:

Temperature: Endress+Hauser TR line
Flow: The flow rate is measured to be sure about the speed in the pipes

Dosing of agents
Conductivity:
Endress+Hauser Promag 50, Endress+Hauser Promass
Endress+Hauser CLS52/ CDL132
Level: Endress+Hauser FMR 245 for continuous and Liquiphant for point level detection
Pressure: Endress+Hauser Cerabar M
Data recording:
Endress+Hauser Memograph
