FSANZ

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) is an independent statutory agency established by the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991. Working within an integrated food regulatory system involving the governments of Australia and the New Zealand Government, we set food standards for the two countries. FSANZ is part of the Australian Government’s Health and Ageing portfolio.

NZFSA

New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) has been set up from 1 July 2002 to administer legislation covering food for sale on the domestic market, primary processing of animal products and official assurances related to their export, exports of plant products and the controls surrounding registration and use of agricultural compounds and veterinary medicines. NZFSA is the New Zealand controlling authority for imports and exports of food and food related products.

IAFP

The International Association for Food Protection, founded in 1911, is a non-profit association of food safety professionals. Comprised of a diverse membership of over 3,000 Members from 50 nations, the Association is dedicated to the education and service of its Members, as well as industry personnel.

Through the Association, Members are able to keep informed of the latest scientific, technical, and practical developments in food safety and sanitation. The Association provides its Members with an information network through its two scientific journals, Food Protection Trends and Journal of Food Protection® , its educational Annual Meeting, and interaction with other food safety professionals.

A Associação Brasileira para a Proteção dos Alimentos, ABRAPA, é licenciada como filiada da International Association for Food Protection Inc. (IAFP), entidade responsável pela publicação do Journal of Food Protection e pelo Dairy, Food and Environmental Sanitation.
A ABRAPA, fundada em março de 2002, é uma associação civil, sem fins lucrativos, de caráter científico e educacional. Seus principais objetivos são:
  • Promover um fórum de discussão para profissionais da área de inocuidade e qualidade de alimentos;
  • Auxiliar no aprimoramento profissional de seus sócios através do intercambio de informações técnicas e científicas e da divulgação de informações relativas à segurança alimentar;
  • Cooperar com outros grupos profissionais na melhoria e na promoção da inocuidade dos alimentos.

Anualmente a ABRAPA estará promovendo um encontro técnico-científico que contará com a participação de um membro da IAFP, além de profissionais brasileiros de reconhecida competência na área de proteção dos alimentos.

NIHS


The National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS), Japan, is one of seven research institutes operated under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and Welfare. NIHS is responsible for conducting basic research to ensure the quality, efficacy and safety of a wide range of products that directly and indirectly affect the populace. BY ensuring that the policies of the Ministry of Health and Welfare reflect the results of such research, NIHS fulfills its mission of improving the quality of life for Japan 's citizens.
