Resistant bacteria in poultry without ever applying antibiotics

Researchers from the university of Georgia have discovered that in poultry never treated with antibiotics, still antibiotic-resistant Coli bacteria are present. (see article abstract)
Therefore users are given no other possibility to protect themselfs against bacteria then to thoroughly heat through meat, to wash their hands and to keep prepared meat apart from raw food.
