ETIF was born in 1998 with a clear goal: to promote the encounter between all members of the Pharmaceutical Industry providing a suitable environment for the development of the segment. That way, the creation of an exposition of international reach was conceived, where all the involved parties could announce and discover the latest advancements in the industry.

The growing number and diversity of exhibiting companies, the excellence of the lecturers partaking in the Congress, the topicality and relevance of the issues tackled, and the sustained growth in the number of attendees edition after edition gave ETIF the lead as the most important event for the Pharmaceutical Industry in South America.
